Birthday Dinner

This Year for Ryan's Birthday I gave Sam to his grandparents for the night and fixed a fancy dinner. After dinner Ryan and I went to see a movie, which we haven't done in a very long time.

It was a really nice night.

Long Time

I've been thinking for a long time that I need to write more and update here... but I never have anything interesting enough or profound enough... silly me.

So, today I am writing what ever silly things come to mind... the point is to start, is it not?

Life is Never What You Expect

Wow, and suddenly life changes again!

So, the big news is--the second biggest news of my life--Ryan and I found out this weekend that inspite of our plans and our best efforts, we are expecting a baby next summer! We had planned to wait a year before getting pregnant so the baby would come just after he finishes school, but I guess that is not how it is going to be.

It's crazy, but I am completely excited!!!

Two Months

Ryan and I have been married for Two Months today!
I know we are just beginging but I feel happier than I ever have. He is my best friend in the whole world and I love him completely.

A Friend

I just got a phone call telling me one of my good friends from school has died. He had cancer, but after an amputation and extensive treatment, we thought he had made it. But a year later it came back.

I created this blog mostly to get in touch with his family, as I saw a posting by another of his friends and am hoping to use this medium to get in touch.

I've talked with a few others who also knew Chad and would like to be able to send their condolences to the family, as well as our expressions of how much we loved him.
